A perfect girl should:

Be pretty, and care about how she looks. It’s the reason Playboy stays in business: men like to look at women. Even if you don’t look perfect, it should be clear that you’re trying hard.

Be simultaneously unavailable and hold the promise of a future physical relationship. That means sex on the first date is a bad idea, but if you rule it out completely, you’re probably not going to get another date from the average guy. Men are pigs, and that’s all there is to it. We want to have sex. Your dad wasn’t lying when he said that’s what we’re after. But that’s not the only thing.

Be intelligent enough to have a sensible conversation. If you’re not, you’re going to get boring really fast.

Be focused on me during the date. That doesn’t mean the date is all about me, but no woman should talk about other guys she’s dated or her miserable ex or some guy she really likes. If you’re out on a date with me, then the focus should be on our date. I want to know who you are, not who your ex was; and I want you interested in getting to know me.

Be secure enough to forgive my occasional glances at other attractive women. I’m not shopping for another woman when I do that; men honestly can’t help it. Chances are really good I don’t realize I’m doing it, in fact, and that she probably didn’t even register on me consciously. Tease me about it, but don’t get mad.mad. me about it, but don’t get mad.
